It is a beauty as is Nancy

There isn't too much room for improvement Nancy, this is gorgeous!

Nancy, thank you for your comment. I watched your works and they are really beautiful. The above cascade of flowers is unique and magical, I wouldn't changing anything. This work has its charm by blurring. I tried this technique and never reached such an effect. I'm always looking for details - sometimes too much. :)

Sensational!

Thank you Dennis, Carole, Willie and Fiona, perhaps I will frame this one, although I had thought that background blue/green was too much, but maybe not so as you suggest. And Maja, thanks for taking time to look at my gallery and comment. This is a half sheet of wc paper (15 x 22 inches) and I soaked it in a large tub of water for a half hour, then let some of the water drip off, and it sticks to the board all wet. I put in the washes and work around the imagined small flowers, so everything gets fuzzy for some time. While wet, you can just touch the paper with paint and it moves on its own, a fun effect. Not until it is dry do I add the dark negative painting, and spatter little details.

Beautiful painting.

watercolor; wet in wet technique, this is from a year ago. I am pulling up some older paintings and sketches, and wanting to redo them, with the eyes and experience I have today. I think the turquoise is too strong. Also, I want my little Bee on the flower to stand out better..... I will crop in and try a cascade of flowers, do it again..!
