Very clever use of the medium - less is so much more in this superb water colour

Thank you Carole, i really want to mess with it, but I will refrain. It is a gift to my sister( her birthday is in March) I am happy that I got his eyes and his expression.......I just have to try some more paintings

watercolor, my sisters big goofy Chinook dog, named Nome, a watercolor sketch at this point, trying for something loose and quick to capture his sweetness ...to keep the portrait fresh and not laboured, any suggestions? will try this again, and my other sisters dog too....soon....
