So tranquil, beautiful sky colours Nancy.

This is a little beauty Nancy, you have created a wonderful atmosphere with your soft watercolour washes.

I didn't see your original post months back, but the single boat without the sail is a perfect addition and adds to the narrative. Strangely, I have just posted a seascape, also with a single sail-less boat just off centre, albeit a lot less tranquil than this lovely watercolour of yours, Nancy. The format is just right, too.

Brilliant Nancy superb quality I'm sure you will find a title

This is so beautiful. Faultless in my view, hope it sells. Don't change anything!

Love the title and those wonderful billowy clouds full of drama with that little vulnerable boat braving the weather. A real stunner Nancy.

Nancy that’s stunning! Sound of silence says it all to me.

Oh, thank you everyone for your lovely compliments. And for all suggestions, before and now. The Sound of Silence came to me as I finished it, so that will be its title. Ready for a local juried show at the College next week. Happy creating to everyone. You all continue to inspire me. :)

What a lovely and peaceful atmosphere! You mastered your washes beautifully rendering a "Turner like" quality to your painting. Congratulations.

A watercolor drama scene about 22 by 15 inches. I finally finished this landscape I had posted several months back; added a single boat and a few distant birds. keeping to the quiet tranquil scene, I decided a mast, no sails, no movement was best. What do you think? I am submitting to a local gallery, unsure of the title. any ideas?
