Watercolour on eighth imperial (275x 190) sheet Saunders 200lb NOT paper. Unfamiliar territory, but I've always loved wildlife and these little birds are among my favourites. Enjoyable to paint with alovely contrast of very loosely laid in background with a more literal representation of the bird itself
