This is jolly good, Philip, but dare I say that I prefer your looser approach in the people at the exhibition painting. You are so good at using watercolour loosely that this subject might have benefited from that approach. I take nothing away from this painting as it is nicely drawn and painted, just liked the other painting so much.

Watercolour on 300 gsm (can't remember which) paper. Another painting of a pub, where I ended up washing my brushes in my beer!
