This view is of Bishopsgate in the City of London, looking towards the tower known as The Gherkin. The painting was inspired by the Tears For Fears song, The Working Hour, and I wanted to capture the feeling of the City waking up to a new day. Featured in the Patchings Open Exhibition in 2017, winning the St Cuthberts Mill Award.
