First attempt at painting 'on site'! Pleased with the composition of the picture. This was from scratch in 2.5 hours and standing up throughout seemed to give me a new freedom with the brush. The weather was kind to me and will try another local scene sometime soon because taking in the real landscape with the noises of birds and tractors in the fields brings a new dimension to the painting experience.
