In an attempt to improve my sketching skills I decided to take on the street scene outside our first floor room. I had a limited time to put the picture together and probably took on too much but I enjoyed the challenge. Amazing the more you look the more your discover! My pocket paint set proved a reasonable base although I much prefer tubes to the blocks to get a stronger image. This scanned version has had to be edited to get some effect of what I actually painted. Painting in 30 degree heat also was something different to for me.
