Your pigeon is good looking and not too much detail in my opinion, Midori. I think one should always follow the instinct about what to paint. Well done, as are your other paintings in your galleries.

I've been trying to paint landscape these days. The plan was to paint the fort, however I couldn't get any piece which I can post here. I gave up. It is important to give up, to avoid being frustrated. One day, I'll be able to try it again. This morning, I painted the pigeon which was perched in a hole of the fort. Actually it is too much detail. My plan was very simple funny pigeon which like to see my sketching.
