Smashing humour and work comes out of this incredibly tidy space

Oh Michael how pristine! I would not dare show my workspace after seeing yours. A beautiful studio.

Crikey Michael, pristine or what, very nice indeed.

I'm afraid I'm very minimalist and have a place for everything - perhaps I should have posted a photo of the other end of the studio - also tidy but different.

Good grief Michael, I wouldn't dare do any painting in your studio! lol Mine looks as though I've been burgled!!!

My what a tidy man you are! I see you like to have music whilst you work.

OCD? You're no kidding! This is so very tidy. A very nice painting space though!

Meant 'not', not 'no'..LOL

Please believe me - it's not always like this. Yes love music while I paint - favourites include Beethoven, Mahler and Bach but I can never be without Einaudi perhaps I'm just a dreamy romantic little sausage !

Gees, that looks so orderly. Mine makes Lucian Freuds studio look tidy. Out of curiosity, what comes out of the 'boom box' whilst you're painting ?

Sorry Michael, you've already answered Margaret on the music question, as I was posting....still mesmerised by this showroom depiction.

We used to call that tidiness didn't we? Some 'shed' that Michael.

I wouldn't dare to go in it's so tidy Michael. Mine is in complete chaos. I do a big clean up once a year but after a couple of days it returns to "normal".

Wow Michael.... Are you sure this is your studio? It's like my doctors room? I'm sure that's a stethoscope I can see lol...I'd be frightened to use it, other than eating my trusted hobnobs in it when I'm trying to get inspiration.... I just feel untidy now looking at mine :-(....lol..

Well I am afraid I'm just obsessively tidy however I work. When I do my acrylic inks I have a table which I cover with a towel and it can get quite a bit messy then - might post a photo of the other end of the studio - but I always clear up afterwards.

G'day Michael , very neat and tidy and , obviously, using daylight as well.Interesting to note the player and your comments regarding music - I also have music whilst working , enjoy the classics - perhaps not Mahler but include some of the English composers. Leicester was my home town for thirty years before leaving for NZ in Feb. 1965. a move never regretted. I still work 3 days a week which is why painting is mainly done at night. cheers Mike C

Mine doesn't resemble this at all, am impressed by how tidy you are,

Thanks Mike and Glennis - I'm beginning to get a bit of complex over my obsessive habits - do you think I need treatment? LOL

Wow ! Now that's neat and tidy give me half an hour their and it would look like a half dozen football hooligans ran amok ...

Inside of the studio - my sanctuary. And yes I do suffer a bit from OCD.
