Yes, I do like the loose twig work, it gives a lovely line , so different than with a pen, good subject as well Michael.

Lovely, the twig has given it a really nice loose effect.

Oh, and congrats for getting the first cartoon on the top gallery!!!

Certainly do Michael. Great washes and texture, and the drawing sits so comfortably on the page if you know what I mean.

Thanks to you all - I've always loved twig and ink and this is the first I've done fore a while.

Lovely balance between the rough ink lines and the rich colour Michael, looks a nice country pub, could just pop in for a quick one!

Cheers Stephen -= I'm a wine man (when it's not gin and tonic that is ).

Yes I like it Michael never tried a twig but its worked very well here lovely work.

Love it, love it, love it!!!! Full of life Michael, I feel using this kind of application to put ink on the paper, it can breathe.

Thanks Dennis and Fiona - got a whole bundle of twigs which I use - not that it makes much difference but i think I used an elder twig for this one...!

I must try a twig with ink Michael as I love the effect you've achieved here enhanced by your colourful washes.

I like the twigginess about it Michael :)

Yes the twig effect makes this smashing. <br />Pint, wine or G&amp;T I don&#39;t mind. You&#39;re buying.

Thanks Val, Carole and Derek for your encouragement.

Lovely piece, Michael. There&#39;s a real immediacy to this piece.

Lovely scene Michael enhanced with the twig and ink.

It&#39;s a beautifully fresh piece of work Michael , I think the marks made with a twig are far superior to traditional nib work as they have a lovely freedom about them .

Two in one day - but never mind - both quite different. This one drawn with a twig and ink and then a few washes - lovely relaxed way to work - hope you like it.
