Lovely fresh colours, I like it a lot!

So do I, lovely sunny day.

Gorgeous greens. Great painting.

Looks a lovely spot Michael and you have done It justice with this super watercolour.

Envy your ability to produce so many nice paintings which remind me of the style Wesson used for work for British Rail and the Post Office. Have you seen these posters? Can we expect to see a book about Leicestershire?

A very attractive watercolour Michael ; love your greens and the window and chimney treatment. Many thanks for your comments on my flower portrait.: I suppose for those of us wanting to get “looser” its just a question of wanting to develop further, which must be a good sign. I do strongly believe though that you need to get “tight” before you can go “loose” - the underlying structure of a painting will always be important. Nothing wrong with your structures though, so go for it ! I have always admired the works of Austrian artist Bernhard Vogel – more like happenings than paintings – and would love to attain some of the freedom he displays (http://www.bernhard-vogel.at/en/works/).

A lovely, harmonious painting Michael with a variety of gorgeous greens!

You must have quite a collection of Leicestershire villages Michael, do you sell them or do you have other plans for them, as Alan suggested? It's a lovely composition and the treatment of the fence against the garage/shed is very clever. Although they are similar in tone the fence comes forward. Great greens too!

Glad you all like it - I do sell them through a local website as well as local exhibitions and, open studio days etc but as for a book it can be hard work promoting it etc so not so sure - also many of them are sold and my basic camera records of them are probably not up to the standard that would be required for publication. Sharon: I will look up Bernhard Vogel as soon as i get a few moments.

Michael, I like the crispness you've achieved here, and I particularly like the old rusty corrugated tin roof of the shed (that's what it looks like to me anyway). I see what Fiona means about the fence and I agree, nicely handled.

Love the colours, great watercolour.

I do like this composition - the sideways view is interesting and gives a nice lead in to the painting. Your perspective is spot on as well.

Superb, Michael. The perspective and the recession are great.

Thanks again all for your kind comments.
