Yes, they are right, Michael: it is moving! Very fascinating shapes and I love the subtle colours in it.

Thanks everyone and, as I exp0lained in the forum, a watercolour wash in the background really brings it to life.

I looked the artist up, Michael. Very interesting. For me these are 'geometric abstractions', a kind of abstract art I enjoy. (No idea if that's the correct term...it's just how I think of them.) I like your examples.

And they're verging on op art. A couple of years ago I spent an enjoyable afternoon producing " doodle" Xmas cards. They turned out really well.
