Can't wait to see you abstract acrylic, Mike, especially the effect of the spit! :)))

These are getting more and more elaborate, like the washing line.

I remember your first coastal, sculpture Michael and now you're on No.34! Another super jaunty piece!

Ivan - the spit was onto rag to rub around the paint on the paper which turned into a bit of a landscape - probably overworked. Stephen - the base on this one was a bit wider than usual (not so obvious in a front view photo) and demanded something else in front of the building hence the fence. Christine - they have proved popular but I will be giving them a rest in the new year.

This is so cute, I can just imagine the 'little people' loving it!

You think that you'll give them a rest in the new year? I doubt it! How can you when you'll spot a suitable piece of wood, just asking to be turned in to one of these wonderful sculptures? I can visualise all sorts of subjects as a change from the little houses. People shopping/shops, drinking outside a pub with parasols, queues of cars at traffic lights? Cars would be good, a rustic traffic jam! Sorry, but the idea of you not doing any for a while doesn't ring true. You can't stop and we just love seeing them here. They are all superb.

Really lovely again Michael! A little house on a little island with a rowing boat and a washing line, enough to make anybody happy. Tove Jansson, the creator of Moomins lived on an island where she didn't have anything more than what is in sculpture.

Love the washing line! Like Louise I doubt you could resist doing any more of these, and of course you could always do a midnight scene with a bat or two!! lol

I love the little boat and the colourful washing....... they all tell a story!

Really lovely one, Michael (sorry about wanting all the blues) - if I had a room with all these colours in it I would be biting your hand off for this one.

Thanks everyone so much. I only have a couple left at home the remainder are in a three local galleries - but that doesn't mean they are all sold - just keeping my fingers crossed..

This is super, Michael. The washing line is fabulous, it packs a punch!

Latest piece after a bit of a lull. The roof isn't quite so garish in reality but couldn't tone it down in the photo.
