Hi Michael, nice one, love the depth and clear texture of colour. Checked out your recent portfolio, lovely work. Need to get back into my painting, had a lot on of late.

Another super painting Michael. I agree about the figures. Nice to see the palette you use. Lovely colours and good balance of tone, it's lovely. Well done.

I agree with all the above a lovely fresh watercolour

Michael I think the figures are fine. ? Knock back the P.O. furniture a bit.

Superb as usual Michael!

Looks to be lovely village Michael and you have done it justice with this bright, colourful watercolour.

Thanks everyone - its so encouraging to receive such positive feedback and I'm really grateful - trying out something a bit different at the moment (well for me at least) and will post it soon.

Paul - thanks for the info - I will look them up. Alan- yes I could knock back the PO furniture but quite like the way the red works.

Sky to die for Michael! Love your village scenes.

Thanks but please don't die Fiona - I'd really miss your postings

Lovely balanced painting-great sense of place

Such a lovely, light, cheerful painting Michael! I agree that the figures could be a bit more prominent but it's fine as it is. Waiting now for your something different!!

Another of my village scenes using my standard palette. Raw and burnt sienna, ult, light red, cobalt blue, pavnes gray. Should have made the figures a bit more prominent. Hope you like it..http://www.michaeledwardsartist.co.uk/index.html.
