Bridges are tricky to draw but this looks right to me, nice tonal range too, can we expect a watercolour version?

Thanks Stephen - yes might try it in watercolour - more in my comfort zone! Looking at it again I can spot a couple of areas I might improve on when I get 5 minutes

It's a great drawing Michael, & I think I may have a go on some of my mountboard off-cuts! probably could do with a bit of action though, like a fish popping up, or a duck or two?

Lovely drawing Michael, and in charcoal too - no end to your talents!

I agree with everyone, Lovely drawing Michael, and as Glennis said you are very talented indeed

You are all so kind - I do like to try things out and this seemed to work reasonably well.

A brilliant job for a first go Michael, I love the subject and the tones are spot on. Watch out Charles!!!

Charcoal and grubby fore finger - on mountboard off-cut - first attempt - I was encouraged to have a go with charcoal after seeing the excellent work posted here by Charles Wilby - not sure about it but great fun nevertheless.
