Beautifully executed and for some reason I feel its Christmasy , your very good at these Michael.

A striking iage and colours, still have to see what cosian is

Thanks both - Derek: Cosian is an invented word to provide a title without leading the viewer in any direction leaving it up to the viewer to interpret, Dennis: thanks for your comments against my Christmas card for 2011 - there is a bit of a story behind this and I'll post it when get a bit of time

Red and green should never be seen! - that used to be the case and for no apparent reason that I can see, love this one Michael, plant life I think...

Definitely has a festive feel to it Michael but it could be the festive season getting to me! Like it.

Lovely, Michael, reminds me of plant life as well, the shape on the left is a bit orchid like. Especially <br />Iike the right hand half of the painting, though, which would make a really striking picture on its own!

Thanks all - I keep thinking paeony when I look at the image to the left

Lovely explosions Michael! I&#39;m not telling you what I see but it has got to do with Xmas. Complementary colours work beautifully together.

You are all very kind and so pleased it is so well received - I am now painting these much larger - my latest is 3 ft long and they do take up space but so envigorating to paint. Also I do make such a mess and have to wash walls, floors, and worktops - haven&#39;t got it on the ceiling yet but there&#39;s still time.

Great abstract painting, Michael, very good.

Christmas colours, red and green. A cracker :)

Perhaps not intentional Michael but it certainly looks festive because it&#39;s that time of year. Super abstract work!

wow Michael, I do love the way you express the colours, great work indeed :)

Treescape I think, good one Michael.

Thanks Cesare, Val, Louise, Maria and Carole for your kind words.

It&#39;s a de-constructed sherry trifle.....very seasonal Michael....super stuff!

I love it - a de-constructed sherry trifle I expect Athelstan had something to do with it !!

Your next cartoon perhaps????

I can see Athelstone trying to swim out of it!😳

A lovely vibrant image, Michael...looks like an underwater scene to me.

Beautiful colours.

This caught my eye when I was commenting on your recent abstract. Just love the colours and shapes and yes it is very christmassy.
