Glad Ambrose has got his neck unknotted, don't think much of Gnome health and safety though!

You know Stephen, when my father was in hospital having an operation for twisted gut the first thing his brother said when he visited him was: 'trust you to get knotted George' - guess that's where the idea came from !

I am afraid the local papers in my part of the world are only concerned with selling advertising space. Even getting them to print a story of local interest is hard work When it comes to paying for cartoons I am afraid there is little hope - they are not that interested even if they get for free as it could encroach on advertising space. They do appear in a local village magazine from time to time for free. As for Cedric he his on holiday with a new girlfriend - Bee Garse - maybe they will appear together in a future cartoon.
