Yes, this is wonderful. The colours may do their own thing, but you have to place them and direct ....

The background colour really sets off the vibrancy in this painting., and finding the interior of the painting very interesting.

Thanks both. Yes a lot of coaxing and several returns waiting for coats to dry - most importantly it's such fun and so liberating just working with colours and patterns. But do I get in a mess !

I wish I had the courage to make something like this. I would say: flamboyant!

Big time! I think I see a seahorse in it but it may well be an illusion. Or maybe it's a gnome hidden there somewhere...

I like the space around it Michael, it's a sort of safe haven from the incredible colour formations.

I think the background sets it off, would leave it as it is. Love the colours.

Great flow and blending of colours, Michael!

Don't crop it Michael, it is smashing as is.

Thanks so much everyone for your kind comments - okay so I will leave it as it is.

I see one of those flouncy haired dogs at Crufts. A great one Michael. I would leave it as it is no cropping.

Wonderful patterns, shapes and especially colours in this Michael.

Wonderful, wonderful colours Michael, I like it just the way it is.

Cheers Carole, Val and Margaret - trouble is it's going to cost a fair wad to get it framed - but then if I sell it who knows what it will fetch - a big if...!

This has wonderful colour and movement Michael and the mix of hard and soft edges adds to the overall impact.

latest biggie - 27ins by 18ins - acrylic ink on mountboard - nothing like a few colours to warm us up in dull autumnal weather. Haven't decided yet whether to mount and frame it as it is or to crop it down into square format without the background colour which looks quite good.
