Brilliant Michael, I really like the deep colours in this one with just the right amount of white to lift it. It will look spectacular in a modern frame! My experiments with the inks has so far been a disaster, they just merge into an inky mess! I think I'll stick to collage and my iPad and leave the abstracts to the experts!

Yes I like it, the glowing white looks good in the darker colour. The flames sound good Michael.

Thanks both - should have added that the frames have a flat profile which also goes well with my watercolours.

Fabulous colours and effect. I hope your inks are lightfast!!? This will look good in the frames I think.

They claim to be Gudren but if they do fade after I have left the planet - well - we'll have something in common.

Very nice Michael its powerful my mind wants to turn it into a plant with a red flower at the centre super work .

The frames sound like the perfect match Michael. This one reminds me of the really close up shots of sea plankton.

Definitely one of your more dynamic pieces Michael, and as you know, I do love these abstracts, refreshingly different. Are you going to divulge your frame maker's name?, always looking for a new supplier...

Ta all. Alan - with some trepidation I tried out a framer who has a small permanent stall in our local indoor market; he has a small range of frames and I particularly liked the one I refer to above which is really sturdy and with a wide profile. I am afraid I don't know the manufacturer. I ordered a single frame from him just to try him out and was so pleased with it I now use him all the time. He is so much cheaper than the more traditional framers with bigger overheads and even gives me a discount as he has got to know me (I have also recommended him to others which helps). Up till now I have cut all my own mounts (being a bit of a miser) but, again, as he is so reasonable he now cuts all my mounts for me. It works out only fractionally more than it costs me to buy sheets of mountboard and better guaranteed quality than when I cut them myself.

Much effective abstract, michael, with great colours and shining light.

I was thinking Aurora Borealis Michael - whatever, it's very striking.

Thanks for the info Michael, but not what I wanted to hear, thought it may be a website. <br />I cut all my own mounts, mainly for speed, as I do sell many works mounted but unframed.

You&#39;re on a roll with these Michael, I bet they are selling well.

Dynamic in spades Michael! I could look at this for hours.

Very expressive and atmospheric, Michael.

My latest acrylic ink abstract - I've found a new supplier for frames - a sort of sivery gold with matt black edge and these abstracts look really good in them - hope you like it.
