Landscape quickie

Love that big sky Michael and the lovely gentle colour palette.

Well for a quickie Michael this is a gem.

The clouds are perfect ! You have definitely caught the feeling of a large expanse .

I agree 100% with the above comments, Michael. I especially love the wet in wet colour changes in the clouds and distant mountains.

Thanks all - yes I do like doing these. Alan Owen is superb at choosing simple subjects - don't know where he gets his ideas from - I guess out of his head but I find it quite difficult without some source material - must go out for a walk into the country (no excuses - I live there) and make a few sketches of big country scenes with bags of damn all other than countryside at it's best.

Lovely free fresh washes Michael, I think watercolour is at it's best when used simply and freely Ike this.
