A picture of the sea by Michael Hanrahan
I wrote a poem to go with it. I know this is not a site for poems but I do write poetry and so here it is. I have a vision of the sea I know what will be will be As the sea rolls on Crashing like a thunderous peal Calming like a slowing wheel Dashing here and there Keeping within its walls a kingdom A world of colour and power Raging with a voice that storms More sturdy than any tower Yet appeasing my spirit When spreading like a glassy sheet And I feel brave enough to wet my feet.
