Resting place

Resting place

At my age Mia I now look for places like this much more often than I did, : ) this little resting place is charming and beautifully painted, I have just looked at my E mails and ' top ten galleries ' so please let me congratulate you on your inclusion, a lovely way to start a new month.

Is this a variation of another painting you did a while back, Mia? I remember being quite taken by the beautiful colors back then. In any event, it's still as eye-catching, in whatever incarnation! It's gorgeous, I like everything about it!

very lovely and romantic Mia...but i see nobody.... too cold ?

Quiet and serene, lovely resting place.

Certainly a lovely place to rest, super use of warm and cool colours.

Its a charming painting! I would love to go there

Very charming and beautiful, Mia.

Thank you all so very much for your lovely comments. Yes, Seok, this is the same you saw before, but I wanted to edit the text (adding the materials I used) and... pushed the delete button!!! There is nobody there, Alain, not yet....

Oh Mia, your work always catch my eyes. It is so romantic, fine in execution and charming.

Thank you, Béatrice, I appreciate every comment and I am very honoured that you like it!

Unmistakably "Mia". Wonderfully restrained which projects a calm image.

Thanks Tony for finding me, because I must be on page 269 by now (I think!!). I always appreciate your comments very much.

Mia I have just looked at your portfolio- you have some very beautiful work. I especially love this one tough - so serene and peaceful. Do you also use a touch of ink ?

Thank you very much for your lovely comment, Denise. In my gallery, I have several portfolio's and you opened probably the only one without pen and ink works! Most of my portfolio's I try to reserve for "watercolour", "drawing" or "mixed media". It is in the mixed media that you will find my pen and wash paintings, some monochrome, some with colourwashes. In the drawing portfolio, off course... there is the ink and pencil work. I also have a portfolio with pen and wash paintings for my children and grand children.
