Lovely sketch Mia, I wouldn’t want to advise either way but I doubt you would ruin it with your skills.

Always good sketches Mia

Personally I like it as it is but whatever you decide it will be good 👍😀

You could never ruin anything Mia....you’re the queen of ink remember! It would be lovely with a tiny stroke of wash here and there.

Almost impossible for you to ruin Mia, so skilful. I like this version but can imagine some subtle colour wash

Judging by your previous ink flowers, I think this one would be lovely with a little wash. Or should I say lovelier, as it is already lovely!

It's very good as it is but am sure a bit of colour in your style will work well.

Excellent sketching, Mia.

Love the spontaneity of your sketches

Thank you all very, very much for your positive comments and advice. I appreciate!

Beautiful and would also look lovely with colour.

Thank you very much, Diane.

Immediately recognisable as yours, Mia. I like your economy of line and the immediacy of the sketch. Your talent always shines through

Thank you very much, Frank and Paul.

A withered rose and a rosebud using my ArtPen filled with Quink Ink (watersoluble). This morning, I did cut this off the rose-tree and did put it in a glass, waiting for the bud to open in a few days and then draw it again. I sketched this immediately in ink, no pencil first. Maybe I will give it a wash, hoping not to ruin it. What do you think? All comments very welcome :) Mia
