Hello Betty, I can't pretend to know anything about this art of yours, I'll have to check in the library to see if there are any books about it. You have produced some lovely animal 'scratchings', here and I'm intrigued by the process. Maybe you could tell me a little about it. Regards to Max & Mum. LOL. M

Thank you Maureen for your kind comments also i have passed on your regards to Max & will do the same when i visit Mum tomorrow. I don't think there are any books on this subject.......i buy some of them with a pattern already on, then all i have to do is scratch with a tooth-pick like tool to bring the picture to life........some i design myself i just buy a black card & underneath the black are colours bronze, silver & gold.....i am very lucky here in exmouth we have a shop who supplies me with all this material at varias prices........I just love doing them but if you scratch the wrong way then the piece is ruined & you can't rectify it so in the bin it goes.

It surely takes you a long time to create these lovely works. I think that you cannot afford to make a mistake. Great work. Thank you too Betty and Max for your kind words on my Blog XB

Thank you Beatrice for your comment on my scratch foils, much appreciated..........It was a pleasure to write on your blog we hope it cheered you up.

I love this Betty you have been busy although it's been a while since I've visited the gallery...I usually try to catch work on the front page or on the left hand side...I was very tempted to buy one of those cards the last time I was in Jacksons but got some watercolour paper instead

This was one of the easier ones to do but still enjoyable.......thank you Patsy
