I tried this once......it is much harder than it looks. this is a great picture.

This is Betty thanking you both for your comments on my scratch foils. Yes it is hard to do as you say Ann but i enjoy doing them but you have to have a good light to do it by. Thank you Mark as you can see Betty did this not me.

With the encouragement i have received from you all i will endeavour to put more scrape foils on. The boards vary Phil i usually use 10" by 8" but i have done some in other sizes they come in the colour black with gold silver & bronze uderneath so when you scratch them the colour comes to the surface. Max urged me to put these on his site i hope i am doing right. Regards Betty.

Betty this is lovely work, I've seen lino cutting, but this scraperboard is new to me, and looks really difficult to do. Please thank Max for his nice comments on my oil painting of H.M.S. Colossus.

I just love badgers and this is lovely...tried some scratching back with water colour and oil pastel very exacting...again congratulations Betty just lovely

Delightful scene and so beautifully done. It must takes ages to achieve this effect. You are so good at capturing the 'essence' of the animal. Really well done.
