Lovely painting of this clump of marguerites Maureen very successful rendering of the dappled shade across the flower heads, this so good it feels like we could just bend down and look these in the garden they are so realistic

Beautiful realistic daisies. You have captured the light so well. I love that it is such an uncluttered simple theme and yet so full of life. As a friend of mine would say, it 'POPS'!!!

Beautiful little painting Maureen. I seem to have "painter's block" at the moment but this just might get me going again!

Thanks, Marjorie. I'm only too familiar with 'painter's block' and feel I'm now just getting out of a long lasting rut. I'm hoping to keep the momentum going ... we shall see! I do hope you get (what you feel to be) going again soon although I haven't seen any evidence of a 'block' with you at all!!!
