This is magnificent work Maureen.

Hi again, Carole! Have to say painting this gave me a great deal of pleasure ... and angst during the process!

Wow....lovely patterns

I am always amazed when I see this kind of work, the effect is amazing, you can virtually hear the gentle lapping of the waves, brilliant, I would be satisfied if I could achieve one little ripple.

Thank you, Joseph and Malcolm for your generous comments.

I love this and the subtle colours in it.

Hold up there I feel seasick! Great work.

Amazing Maureen!

Thank you so much for all your comments, Mo, Gudrun and Fred. Nice to know I can make someone feel seasick, Fred!

Great effects. It would pass for an abstract if it wasn´t so real.

Thank you, Pat. I do struggle deciding whether to classify some of my paintings as abstract or figurative even though they're all taken from a snippet of reality.

This is gorgeous Maureen, very realistic and abstract too! I can even see a Bridget Riley influence here?

Thank you Fiona (sorry I haven't responded until now). ... and thanks to Russell too. Can't say I'm a Bridget Riley fan but I can certainly see where you're coming from.
