I am always amazed when I see this kind of work, the effect is amazing, you can virtually hear the gentle lapping of the waves, brilliant, I would be satisfied if I could achieve one little ripple.

Thank you, Pat. I do struggle deciding whether to classify some of my paintings as abstract or figurative even though they&#39;re all taken from a snippet of reality.
