Having set up an Etsy store in the last week or so I'd read about small collectors art cards or ACEOs. Originally started by an artist in Switzerland who envisioned them as cards to trade like football or cigarette cards, people now buy and sell them for next to nothing on Ebay, Etsy etc. Its an affordable way for people to collect art, albeit tiny art, as the size for the ACEO format is only 2.5 x 3.5 inches. I thought I'd have a go and having some cherries in the fridge decided to tackle one of those. This tiny still life is executed in Winsor and Newton 'Artisan' water mixable oil paints, on Winton canvas textured paper measuring the required 2.5 x 3.5 inches.
