Hehe yes that was a brave move of you Mathew, a painting a day for June eh, Dawn did that for a month and was pretty desperate by the end of it I think, this is a super chimp in oil

Hi Matthew I've just caught up with the fact you're doing a painting a day. Ros is right I was quite mad by the end of it but it was the best thing I've ever done for my own work. It's lead me in a totally different direction. I will now comment every day to keep your spirits up. It worked for me.

A quick sketch of a Bonobo that I did from a photo taken while at Twycross Zoo on Saturday. I've (probably stupidly) challenged myself to make June a 'Painting a Day' month. This will hopefully stop me for ever procrastinating about doing creative things, and actually make me do them, and in the process make me more proficient with all the concurrent practice! That's the plan anyway! Just got to do it now!
