Lots of movement in this painting, suggesting a windy day. Lovely sky - and I like the cloud shadows on the hills.

great work:)Linda

A typical scene in one of the most northerly valleys of the Yorkshire Dales: drystone walls and field barns punctuate the flat valley bottom fields full of hay ready for harvesting. Beyond the valley wall rises to the moorland fells. Mixed media. mainly pen and ink wash with wax resist, with a bit of gouache thrown in for good measure! Half sheet Bockingford watercolour paper 15" x 22" More paintings on my website: www.cobbybrook.co.uk
