Great painting Martin, I've visited Lyme park and it's a beautiful place.

The house dates from the 16th century and is set in extensive grounds, made famous as the seat of Mr Darcy in the 1995 TV adaptation of Jane Austen's 'Pride & Prejudice'. Now in the care of the National Trust. Called here at the weekend - absolutely heaving with visitors and blistering hot, so nothing more than a small, swift study in pen and ink with wax resist on tinted pastel paper. 6" x 9"
