Actually I lie: more like fifth or sixth attempt... After the success of the small painting of Loch Na Keal I wanted to produce a bigger version without losing the freshness and vitality. After numerous failures I painted it all out with bright red, then attacked the canvas with various paints and a knife! Loch Na Keal with Ben More in the background. Acrylic on canvas. 20" x 16"
