Interesting take on this scene. Great artistic use of colour and shapes. Very attractive painting.

This ruined church, near Ashford, lies beside a large lake. The tower dates from the 15th century and is reasonably intact. A simple 16th century memorial to a Richard Plantagenet in the churchyard is believed to mark the grave of one of Richard III's three bastard sons. Now in the care of The Friends Of Friendless Churches. Mixed media (ink wash and wax resist) on 230gsm watercolour paper. 14.5" x 10.5"
