The thumnail really caught my eye Martin and it looks even better now I've taken a closer look. Like your choice of a low key pallette.

One of a number of paintings based on a recent visit to the Welsh Marches. Hidden from casual glance to travellers on the hedge-lined single track lanes of the Clee Hills in Shropshire, Heath Chapel is a 900 year-old stone time capsule. Virtually untouched since it was first constructed in the century following William's successful Conquest of Britain in 1066, this tiny, humble country chapel is overwhelmingly peaceful and an absolute delight to see - once you have managed to find it, that is! The classically-shaped, yet unpretentiously decorated south doorway leads into a dark nave and chancel, lit only by the original Norman slit windows. A truly memorable visit.
