I love this very humouristic picture. It is lovely.

This ones my favourite of these posted. Very nice.

My favourite too; a great Christmas card.

Did you use texture paste, I wonder, or is this paint alone? Like your other paintings (the owls are my favourite) this would make a good Christmas card - find a card manufacturer and off you go. Or print your own. I'd love to receive cards like these, as opposed to the horrible things that so often pass as appropriate cards at Christmas, awash with lots of tinsel and gold.... and my least favourite of all, pictures of coaches and coaching Inns, with lots of jovial Victorians gents and demure ladies in bonnets.

i also absolutely love this one !

Hey thanks to everyone for all your lovely comments! In response to Robert, I simply used ordinary acrylic paint, apart from some heavy-body white (Daler Rowney Ultra Thick 3D) for the sheep's fleece and the snow, which I stippled on with a stubby, round brush. I sometimes add Gel Medium to my paints to thicken them for similar effects, or for exaggerated marks when using a painting knife.

Just found your gallery, Martin....it's entirely after my own heart....agree you should find a card manufacturer...
