Beautifully done but prefer your harbour scene.

wondered what support paper you used? I am finding that my pastels are going a bit muddy. I like to put down a watercolour base colour to really work out my composition and save on pastel layers. If I fix them the colours dull. this looks to me as tho you may have used a paint base ie similar to myself? Love the gentle subject and soft colour scheme

Lovely colours in the distance; same on the harbour scene. You are a master with those distant trees. However, in this I find the foreground a bit lacking in interest and there seems to be something very slightly wrong with the perspective in the house at the front. The angle of the left hand roof slope doesn't seem quite right.
