Stunning Marjorie. As always the light in your paintings is magical, did you use a dark ground to start from? Wish I had known about Howick gardens, I was there last year...perhaps a visit for this year.

I do like this place - in fact I was only thinking of it yesterday and you have created the light so well. It is so unspoilt there.

Thankyou for the comments. Yes, Rachel, it's not commercialised at all, even the tea rooms are " stately". The snowdrop walk is the feature at the moment, must go this weekend. Fiona, I used a black canvas for this. You must visit when you are next in the area.
