P.s. Light is terrible today, not exactly the true vibrant colours.

Seeing your work am surprised the tones aren't stroger, but it is a good study

Sun just coming out....lovely subject Marjorie 🙂

Derek, I think it was the light when photo taken, at least, I hope so. Will look again, as I usually so! Thanks Sylvia.

Nice composition and painting Marjorie

A good start to the new year Marjorie.

And it's acrylic John, which I haven't used for ages! Thanks for the comment.

Thanks Satu and Dennis - just eaten the mango.

Beautiful painting. Bravo Marjorie!

The blue cloth gives the fruit zing Marjorie.

Thankyou Marialena and Carole.

Just love this Marjorie. Great colours.

They cheered me up on a grey day Sandra. Thanks.

You’ve used the perfect word in your description Marjorie, this is marvellous! Lovely colours and they show up beautifully on the bold cloth.

Beautiful work Marjorie. Such good light, colour and composition.

Thanks Fiona, that cloth was bought in Barbados, some years ago, to protect my modesty, ha ha. It was actually in a charity bag on Mon. And I hauled it out to go with the fruit. Think I'll keep it a bit longer. Many thanks Louise and Russell!

Lovely work - love the way the fruit etc catch the light

Nearly missed this - lovely work Marjorie - I especially like the slight haziness of the objects

Thanks for the comments, Maureen and Michael.

Acrylic on old piece of ply, 43cmx38cm ( 17"x15"). Took the fruits and cloth into the club on Monday, sun caught it and the colours were marvellous. Not going anywhere, just enjoyable.
