I think they look great together Marjorie but maybe swop them around then the lady on her feet will look as though she is about to enter the other painting. Just a thought :) The fragmented glass background is brilliant.

Marjorie they are terrific, in their own right or as a diptych.

You're both very kind, Louise and Fiona. I feel some elements worked, what's attracting me now is a painting of the glass backdrop, no foreground figures, just reflections.
