I think you have done it very well. Congratulations.

The result is superb .... many congratulations, especially for tackling it in oil; I'm sure you'll have learned a vast amount from doing so.

It's hard enough to be able to discover how an artist created a task to find combinations of colors, style and techniques. Through this process, however, discover new things about the author and approaching another aspect, much more readily than when simply studying his works.
