This is brilliant...I really admire the way you have captured the day...we've all been there!

The waterdrops on the window pane are amazing. REALLY love how you captured those! Its like a photograph.

Must agree the raindrops are amazing. Lovely painting Margaret.

No surprise that this is on display in the mall galleries and that it has been sold you have painted it superbly and those are well deserved rewards for such perfect work Margaret

I'm back for a second look...I couldn't quite believe it the first time! I hope you got a good price for it. Somebody is very lucky to own it. Did you have any prints made? I'm not sure I could bear to sell it if I'd put all that hard work into it! x

Fantasic painting Margaret, well done

Fabulous Margaret!

Superb painting its like a real photograph awesome.

not surprised it was sold, so realistic, at first I thought it was a photograph, well done indeed

amazing effect in acrylics...very interesting

'Summer 2012' what a super picture. I really love the way you have painted the rain on the window. It makes you feel 'right there' and almost feeling the cold, wet, awful weather.

This wildy brilliant. Really exceptional. Looks like a photo.

As soon as I saw this - I thought I lLIKE - fab.

August Bank holiday 2012, we were on holiday in Sidmouth, Devon, and it was pouring with rain. The only thing to do was portray it as it was. I took a number of photos and spent several weeks creating the work, painting the blurred background first and then the raindrops, using the colours from the sky and background as they were reflected in the drops. I must confess I did become rather impatient with raindrops by the end and found I had that irritating song "Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head" going round and round in my brain. I am very pleased with the finished work and it is currently on display in the RBA exhibition in the Mall Galleries and has been sold.
