Margaret, I have just logged on. I do think you have flair and imagination when you draw and paint. they look like a young person's drawing (not childish but clever). I used to doodle a lot when I was younger, not now. I have just had a bad day painting - tried to finish an oil painting and made a complete muck of it. Tomorrow will be better. Jeannette

Jeanette, hi! Thanks (I think!). I am not young! Perhaps I think young? Any piece of paper liying around the house gets covered with eyes, mouths, hands and designs drawn by my son (19 and taking time out having completed a Graphic Design & Illustration course) and I. Come to think of it, my poor husband must get really fed up!!

Margaret, Thank you for your lovely comments. I am self taught. I paint everything even my husband and dog literally. I'm always touching them with paint on my hands! I did go to college in Kingsway London, studied shorthand & typing - second subject art because I liked it. Teacher said should take up art, I didn't want to so, became shorthand typist. Took up painting again at not so young an age. It's relaxing I love it and my garden. www.jeannetteharrisonart.com there are some pics of my garden it's in the Yellow Book NGS. I sit out there and paint in the summer. It's nice to think young. I say, just keep painting you definitely have flair and talent Jeannette

My art has changed since I was last on this site. I need to move forward again and Painters Online helped me with my art before so, hopefully, I shall be inspired again.
