Hello Margaret. Thank you for your kind words regarding my carousel paintings. Although our style of painting is very different. this one of yours has really caught my eye. It flows in a very gentle way - I guess in the same way as poetry....Is book illustration something you do? Sheridan

hi Margaret. I have just posted some of my watercolour portraits. As you can see, they are very different from the carousel paintings. The carousel paintings are a bit of a leap into new waters for me, which is why I am enjoying them so much. Sheridan

Hi Margaret i have just had a surprise and gone into your paintings direst, to find you have done many more fairies. I love them all, i like this and the poem to go with it, nicely illustrated. Could you drop me your email address to one of my paintings, and I can keep in touch with you direct with a chat and new paintings, I do of fairies, etc.

love this

I really like this. It reminds me, in style, of Michael Hague's work with just a touch of Rackham. Very nice indeed.

The writing says:-"And pluck till time and times are done - The silver apples of the moon, - The golden apples of the sun." From 'The Song of Wandering Aengus' by W.B Yeats. One of my favourite poems.
