That’s very nice Martin - like the palette and the looseness. I smiled when you mentioned the time taken…still quick but thinking takes time. The end result is really good.

Another terrific painting Martin

I’m liking this loose style and subject…

Super, the best work is often done in the quickest time when it some to art Martin

Worth that 1.5 hours, very good indeed

Great portrait, excellent colours.

Thank you all very much. Much appreciated

Wonderful portrai, Martin!

Did you really think you could pull off a portrait in ten minutes? If you can, do let me know how you do it; I'm not a bit surprised it took you much longer: and the result is worth every minute of the time you put into it. Very accomplished oil sketch that stands as a work in its own right, and as with your other painting, get a frame around it when it's dry - in years to come, they'll appreciate it even more than they do today.

Cheers Robert. Ten minute portraits are a bit of a craze. It teaches me a lesson to not get dragged into days and weeks of work

A great portrait, that looseness keeps it alive.
