It's worked really well Malcolm, it's fascinating to see what emerges from between those two pieces of glass isn't it?

Slipped to great effect Malcolm

Thanks Christine and Dennis, yes Christine it is fascinating.

Well done. Good fun isnt it?

Thanks Sian, yes it was if a little messy cleaning the glass :)))

Clever to get the three layers of colour to represent sand, sea an sky. It is a fascinating technique, isn't it!

Thanks Thea, it is interesting I suppose if someone really got into it, they could produce some very interesting work.

Well, it's certainly different, not a bad idea at all, I like it Malcolm.

I agree with what's already been said, you managed to make a really interesting image, slip and all!

I saw on a video clip how it's done. It's quite difficult to control. I like this.

This is an unusual one Malcolm, well thought out.

What a success for a first go Malcolm....well done! I think the slip has added another dimension to it.

Well thank you Alan, Debs, Gudrun, Carole and Fiona, it has been interesting to get away from my comfort zones even for this one fleeting moment.

Just had a go too but not as adventurous as you ! Yours reminds me of dried mud on boots in the warm with frosty glass keeping out the cold.

Thanks for that Pod and what an interesting interpretation, quite like that, just goes to prove, art is different through different eyes, thanks again, you have got me looking at it again now :)))

Well it works for me - now how about a cartoon?

Thanks Michael, I know I said I joined to see and try new things, but a cartoon? I think that may be taking things to far.

Well, I joined to see and try and this is another thing new to me, I know I have probably not got the right idea of putting paint on and seeing what emerges, I could not resist a basic idea, old habits, I also let the glass slip when lifting it off as you can see with the lines. But still it was interesting and it may be something I could take to as something to fill those little gaps.
