Such a pretty place Malcolm and a great spot for plein air painting.

You are so right Sarah also great for those who like bird watching.

Afon Glaslyn is one of my very favourite places Malcolm , you have captured it well.

Thank you so much for your comment Sylvia, I was in the area for 14 days and walked sections of the river a couple of times it is so varied.

Beautiful rocks so realistic Malcolm. Lucky you walking in this wonderful place. Nice to see your work again....

I need to get out more !!this is great

Such fresh greens, Malcolm, great mark making, so enjoyable to look at, Lovely plein air stuff!

You look as tho' you enjoyed doing this Malcolm. Good to see you again.

Thank you Carole, Linda and Thalia for your welcome comments, it has been a while since I posted anything on the gallery so it is a nice feeling to receive positive words such as yours, thanks.

Thank you Marjorie, I did enjoy it as I do anything that involves being outdoors and it is nice to be posting again, things have got in the way as they do for us all at times.

Malcolm it’s lovely to see you posting again and thank you for your comment on Quinag. You certainly haven’t lost your ability to capture the sense of place whilst you’ve been absent Malcolm. Some lovely details in the rocks and sense of depth.

Thank you Fiona and Margaret for your comments much appreciated, I have not been doing much for a while Fiona for various reasons that come to us all at some point so it is nice to be putting pen and brush to paper again.

A Plien air watercolor sketch with pen definitions of a section of the River Glaslyn near Beddgelert in North Wales, this was one of the opportunities that presented itself while I was walking the river and the gorge that came a little further up on a very nice day for weather.
