This was a quick 10 minuit sketch this morning while walking round the nature reserve near my home. This Nature Reserve is the largest area of raised bog wilderness in lowland Britain and is home to many rare species of plants, insects and animals/birds including an important population of Nightjars. The area was cleared of forest by early man which created the peat which man then started to harvest, all major extraction has now stopped and there is a program of restoration to certain areas of the reseve.
