Sketch. Old Rhajas Palace and brick makers. Kaplu
On one of my trips into the Karacoram mountains in Pakistan, during the initial drive in we stopped at a village called Kaplu. Above the village was a deserted and semi ruined Rhajas palas that was being repaired. The workmen were mixing the mud base to make bricks for this process and out there wore no kind of protective gear at all, just what they would normally wear but no footwear.
