Sutherland Dawn waltercolour 13x9"
This is a painting taken from a photograph I took early one morning one February when we were up in Sutherland walking and climbing. This was an amazing cottage and location, it was at the end of a little glen and after collecting the key from a farm some distance off, you drove along a dirt track and it was the only building there. Each morning you looked out and there were deer all around that had come down from the tops in the night, an amazing spot and on this morning the sky was so amazing but so tortured it did not seem real.
